Laura Basha Dr. Laura Basha is a life coach, educator, writer and artist, specializing in personal transformation and creative self-expression. She is a certified trainer and holds a B.A. in Fine Arts, a M.A. in Counseling Psychology, and a doctorate in Clinical and Organizational Psychology. She studied healing for 15 years under the direct teachings of the Reverend Kathryn Jarvis. Laura has been a consultant, educator, and coach for thousands of clients since 1978.

As a personal and organizational consultant and speaker's bureau presenter for Personal Style Counselors, an Oakland, CA-based image consulting firm, she worked for ten years with an international clientele. During this time she assisted her clients in validating their own beauty and developing their presentation and communication skills. As a senior color artist and consultant, she led seminars and trainings, made presentations, radio and television appearances, and provided private coaching consultations for the company.

Her unique style and approach offers individuals and organizations access to innate creativity, motivation, and well-being. She has worked with a principle-based paradigm of health and empowerment since 1990, catalyzing an awakening in people as to the role thought plays in creating our experience of reality. She has taught her work in community, clinical, academic, public, and corporate settings. She was a principal in the development of a national training program for organizational leadership. Her work inspires co-operative engagement of people's resources, within themselves as well as externally within the group setting, focused to specific results.

A national speaker and accomplished artist, Dr. Basha has co-written and co-produced several public service announcements, collaborated on three books, and is currently preparing a manuscript for a book on the positive impact of joy and lightheartedness in organizations and business. One of her specific passions is empowering women to bring forth their innate feminine wisdom and authenticity in such a way as to dramatically increase the health and positive self-expression of each woman's self and world.

The synthesis of Laura's work finds its expression through her transformative arts business: White Bird Rising. She offers individual and organizational co-active coaching and advanced leadership development, workshops, and tailored presentations. Laura is a mother of two, stepmother to three and their spouses, and is "Nona" to seven! She resides in Northern California with her husband and their two hilariously inspired and beloved Tibetan Terriers.
